Outstanding for its dark red new shoots. With a rather columnar shape, this small tree first has a purple foliage turning green during the summer and then red, yellow and orange in fall.In fall, the fallen leaves have a caramel scent.
Small upright tree, more or less wide, with a short trunk. It has dense, purple foliage when it sprouts out, turning later to bright green colour in summer. It will change again in fall time to warm tones of orange-apricot. The leaves have a very caracteristic fragrance of caramel in fall. Blooms are uninteresting,followed by a few pods.
