Pépinière Jasmin | Jardin Jasmin

Gherkins and cucumbers belong to the same species but the gherkins are smaller with a tough, thin and thorny skin. Mainly used for pickling but very tasty when eaten fresh. It can creep or climb if we give it a good support to fix it. Plant it in the garden at the beginning of June, in a light, deep and humus-rich soil; does not tolerate cold weather, wind and water on the foliage. Water during dry periods with a lukewarm water. Harvest as they get mature.
