“Riesentraube” means “mass of grapes”, in allusion to the quantity of fruits, sometimes up to fifty, which grow on each bunch. Its red fruit of large cherry format, 3 to 4 cm in diameter, with a pointed belly never cracks. It has a good fragrant flavor. It would have been used in Hungary to make wine.
